One of the things I like about Paulo Coehlo's "Warrior of the Light: A Manual" is that it allows for human fragility to occur even as the warrior is on his adventure. In his writing, Coehlo understands that we as humans aren't perfect, but we strive to overcome our lesser natures. It is that fragility that gives the warrior his humanity, and makes him more than just a robot.
The warrior knows he's fragile. He knows he can be weakened. But the adventure fuels his heart to forge ahead.
